First Snow

This is a picture I took of Olympus keeping warm on the radiator while the first flurries of the season danced outside my apartment window. I was tapping away on my laptop and listening to Christmas music when a gust of air pulled my attention toward the window. It was one of those incredibly cozy, wonderful moments to savor. I love snow. Really really love it.
I'm in Kansas City visiting my mom and stepfather for the holidays. It's only 5 degrees outside, and we'll go sub-zero this evening. BRrrrr! To keep the house and our spirits warm we're embarking on an all-day cookie-making spree. Traditional Swedish gingerbread and sugar cookies are on the to do list, so I must be going!
