Bailout Bullshit

Contact your congressman/congresswoman and at the very least, insist on major requirements and oversight be put on these greedy liars. MANY Americans who have understood this situation have been crying foul and warning this would happen for OVER A YEAR. This is total bullshit. The margin of possibility this bailout will bring a "profit" to the taxpayer is incredibly thin. If you buy this, if you swallow it without getting all the information right at your fingertips online... if we do not educate ourselves about what is happening, and how it happened... when this bailout backfires, YOU will be just as much to blame. For democracy to work, its citizens simply can NOT sit back and contemplate their navels expecting leaders who have done anything but LEAD try to solve a dire problem for them. If we check out and shut ourselves in a comfy closet of denial as this storm sets in because it's just to uncomfortable and challenging to pay attention and to understand, then we'll be just as much to blame for the consequences. A society gets the leaders it deserves. Be stupid and uninformed, or don the responsibilities inherent in being a part of the land of the "free" and say something.
