Untitled ~ Canon 30d

For some reason, words are escaping me these days – this is my second untitled post, after all. The usual ability, drive, or inspiration to say something, to make an impression, be remembered, be heard, create something or be understood – Why has this ever been important to me? a barely conscious part of me is wondering. I was working so hard and dealing with so many stresses for so many weeks, I think I finally let go of all the shoulds and allowed myself to personify the maybes. It's as though a long-dormant part of myself is slowly awakening, and she's just not that impressed with making impressions. It's called percolating, I think. Some incredibly big things came across my plate over the last 2 months but now there's nothing of enormous proportion challenging me. I'm not dreaming like I was a few weeks ago – just plugging along on deadlines that for once, aren't screaming at me. By last month's standards today was incredibly bland, but it was wondrously delicious. I did some work , left my camera at home, and walked for an hour. When I noted two incredible images I could have shot, I breathed the images into my heart and, while exhaling, wished everyone in the world could feel the peace and tranquility surrounding me in my small patch of forest. No agendas. No wanting. No creating. No worrying. Just being.

Funny how all of those no's allowed the words to finally tumble out of me – safe, secure and allowed. I should have titled this post, "unedited".

I'm really liking your macro explorations. It's like deep sea diving ... you descend lower and amazing visual images appear. Great job of capturing them.
