A Drop of Kindness ~ Robert & Tamara

Untitled ~ Canon 30d

I'd like to request some metta. Robert continues to show developmental delays, and I am consumed with worry and grief. In truth, all I really do want for him is to be safe, healthy, happy and live with ease. And I don't want to constantly battle my own fears and brokenness. Sometimes it just seems very hard.

Holding you both in the light, Tam!

I took a series of water drop images in The Bishop's Garden in early April, but for some reason, didn't feel compelled at the time to share them with you. I finally figured out why... after writing the metaphor of each act of kindness being a drop of metta into the world, I think these images have found a home here.

Robert and Tamara - May you be safe. May you be healthy. May you be happy. May you live with ease. I agree. This is the perfect image here, Susan. I am really loving this.

Susan, it was so wonderful to see you recently, and I look forward to more opportunities to do so.

I've been watching the transformation of your blog in recent months, and I love the direction you've taken with it. It feels as if while your blog has become a quiet refuge of meditative though, so have you. I appreciate the peacefulness that you are bringing into the world.

Hi Lauren!

Your words really touched me today. Indeed, this is my online meditation, and it pleases me to no end you are finding a peaceful refuge here. I am so glad you are my friend.

Peace.............. you bring it to all of us.

Perhaps I do facilitate peace up here, but you, the reader, must be open and accept it. In doing so, you are the creator of peace within yourself, which is the first step in creating a more peaceful world. In many ways, it is a co-creative process, but someone has to start to the ball rolling... why not "me"? Why not "you"?
