Cherry Blossom Sunrise ~ Canon 30d

Although you can't tell, it was snowing when I took this picture at around 6:40 am last week. The wind was really blowing, which is why the branches are blurred in places ~ an effect I intended! There were about 5 other photographers and a video crew set up with cameras when I arrived at 6:30... all wearing PARKAS in APRIL! Totally bizarre, that's all I have to say.

Well, I walked to work in a short sleeve shirt today and the temperature was about 80. The sky was brown again and another sand storm, a small one. Lots of sand here. ;-) That's the way it is in Bahrain.

It is nice to see pictures of cherry blossoms and snow.

Stunning, Susan. Snow predicted here Sat night. Hasn't frosted for three nights running. Our lilacs are GONE before they had a chance to flower. Mother Nature keeps us guessing.
