St. Elmos ~ Canon 30d

The cafe/restaurant theme continues.

Isn't the light in this shot nice? I took it last week during a lunch date with an incredibly talented sculptor whose site I'll be re-designing soon. St. Elmo's Coffee House is so cute... the chai is great, and the atmosphere's creative and eclectic. Perhaps, if I'm lucky, he'll let me post some of his work here as a guest artist. It's hard for me to understand how anyone can create in 3-d. I have a hard enough time in my 2 dimensional world!

Something about that photo with the light just makes me happy looking at it! And, of course, the name reminds me of my fav movie back in the '80's. Wonderful shot.

That's pretty nice 3-D work in above the window too!

...and you are correct about the lighting (south facing?).

When the photo came up on the screen I just had to smile. What a great place for a cup of tea. Great shot.
