Vintage ornaments, found at the antique mall ~ they're the best kind. Wish I were posting more often and writing more, but I'm being held captive by a Rabbit playing a stringed instrument this month... and she's a task master.
If anyone ever decides to plant the seed of putting together an e-card site in your heart and head, stop and think long and hard. Make sure you're called to do it, and don't begin without a clear vision in your head. I'm really glad I can say yes to both of these conditions because this has been a ton of work! Work, work, work. Just like relationships, and just like life. It's fun, it's difficult, it will ultimately be rewarding, but it's really hard work. At this rate, I'll have to keep the Autumnal branding up on my site until Fall 2007 rolls around. Que sera sera!
And don't be surprised while following your dream if it begins to seem like everything gets done the hard way. Taking a stab at anything really worthwhile is rarely easy. The trick is to remember it's not about "easy", it's about building something of value that will touch people in a uniquely warm and creative way. With the hurdles I've had to hop over the last 8 weeks I know that finding success in the end will feel like a miracle. The powers that be? I think they set things up this way, so when the puzzle pieces do fall into place, I simply won't be able to take all the credit for myself. Spirit is always watching over us ~ guiding us with her wise and sometimes exhausting hands.
To those of you who have signed up, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means quite a bit to me.
Now... where did I put my bunny slippers? I just can't work without my bunny slippers!

This photo is gorgeous! It brings back memories of ornaments from our tree when I was very young.
And about that bunny taskmaster...I had to laugh right out loud at how sexist I am. I assumed all along that it was a he-bunny rather than a she-bunny! I guess I spent too many of my growing up years being prejudiced toward men being the leaders in the workplace. Aack!

Ha.. this is the FIRST time I've referred to the rabbit as a "she"... the jury is still out.. in many ways, I think this bunny is my alter ego!
