Line up ~ Canon 30d

I think I'm going to take a break from the blog. Not sure for how long. My sabbatical might last just a few days, a couple weeks, months ~ who knows, forever? My two year mile mark is coming up in just a matter of days, and I'm thinking I've been doing this a very long time and I need to assess my workload and direction. Maybe it's just a late August thing. I've never been a big fan of Summer. By late August, I'm just ready to be over with it... throw in the towel on the heat and energy-sapping humidity. Autumn just can't begin soon enough. I'm yearning for some fresh air and a new start ~ a cold snap to stimulate the senses and wake me up ~ a cozy sweater wrapped around me... the smell of smoke in the air... the crackling of leaves... 3-dimensinoal human beings holding my hands, and the feeling of connection and being connected. The internet ~ the blog ~ my independently creative process, which I normally savor ~ can do only so much in this area.

I'm on the verge of committing myself to a couple of community activities, feeling the need to move into a period of action. With his unrelenting heat and oppressive humidity, August selfishly withholds and delays what I yearn for the most ~ the most favored and anticipated of seasons. I need a break before a number of new things take off and begin.

So I'm choosing to pause ~ to think ~ to scan the state of visual-voice.net ~ and answer the question: Does the line start? or end? here.

Noooo, say it isn't so. I enjoy signing on every day and seeing new and insightful things. I know it must be a drag for you, but for those of us out here, we will miss you.

Oh, Barbara... what I do here has never been a "drag"... it's a question of direction, purpose, and the best use of my time at the moment. I so appreciate your comment!

You haven't lost direction or purpose...but as my Scottish hubby says, "a change is as good as a rest", and maybe you just need a change...OR a rest!

I look forward to hearing what you'll say next:) (I'll call and you can just whisper it into my ear...!)

You are untimately doing this for yourself, even though you have a good audience. So suit yourself; you will be missed.

The loss of your ever sweet and oh, so creative presence will be an longing ache in my day for sure, but I do so understand the need to step back and contemplate which path to take next. Many blessings to you as you take the time to find that line. I'll be in touch! Hugs!!

Blessings on your next season in life. You'll be missed. Will you keep the site up so we can look at your archives if we need a Vis-Voice fix? =)

Gee whiz, I said a few days to forever. I'm simply taking the time to size things up... decide how much time I have for my projects, and see where I'm headed.

When I found your sight and looked at all your wonderful Christmas celebrations, rituals, and loving moments I have followed ever since. I have been even anticipating this coming Christmas/advent and the joy it will be to read your events.
I hope you come back, but have a wonderful rest and thank you for all your postings.

Take a sabbatical if you must, and do so with blessings. But PLEASE don't disappear altogether.

This site is a breath of fresh air!!!!
