Flower Power ~ Canon 30d

Somehow, this flower says "60's" to me. Makes me think of Laugh In and Goldie Hawn. Funny, whimsical blossoms!

Please hold my mom in the light today ~ the doc thinks she might have West Nile Virus, and she's feeling incredibly droopy. Love you, mom!

it says "crystalized sugar" to me, sister - how lovely your photos are, susan. it seems lame to me to continue to say it over and again, but i have to.

you amaze me.

Lantana, right? I've always liked that plant - it'll thrive in the worst conditions (i.e. DC summers). The flowers are great too - several bright colors in each and almost artificial looking. Love your photo too!

It's that *orangishness*! ...kinda' like the 50's were that avocado (that one's for Janet, along with a prayer).

Here's hoping your mom is feeling much better. Love the feeling of happiness these flowers evoke.
