What soap is for the body, tears are for the soul.
~ Jewish Proverb
If ever there were soaps which could sooth the soul, these creative, bespeckled, scented bars would be among them. I love how the woman in this shot chooses the polka dotted soap. Her rings speak of creativity and uniqueness... it's as though the soap, the rings, the woman, are experiencing a moment of synchronicity!

I have a friend who makes the most amazing soap as a sideline business; it's truly an artform. Some of it you almost want to eat! Which is kind of a strange impulse... synaesthetic.

Hey G,
I'd love to learn how to do it... looks like so much fun, and YES totally lickable and eat-able. Who says washing your mouth out with soap is a bad thing?

without thinking I put a bar of handmade spice soap (dark brown) in the bathroom once.. poor Emily must have thought it was a brownie because the next morning it had a tiny bite mark in one corner...
