Favorite Word ~ Persimmon

I've started a new category for the New Year ::: Favorite Word. I've had a Favorite Word list for some time now... you know... whimsical words, funny words, weird words.... words that roll off the tongue in a most delightful way. The challenge will be to pair them up with an image, and with my list, that's a persnikety task!
One of my favorite words is persimmon. It just sounds like magical orange fruit and spices to me. I happened to pass by a stack of them at the grocery store just before Christmas and decided that now was a good time to begin. Persimmon ~ it's a good thing.

Persimmon's a great word. I've always liked the word "luggage".

I found your favorite word amusing this morning... I had just heaved my huge suitcase down the stairs in prep for going to the airport! It's a cool word, but a HEAVY one!
