Clarification of "Evil"

November 2, 2005

I just realized something. You (my readers) don't hang out with me on a day to day basis, so y'all don't know the context with which I use the word "EVIL". It seems some clarification is needed.

I call all sorts of things EVIL including, but not entirely limited to the following:

  • Anything that looks sort of Spooky!

  • Wal*Mart

  • Custard

  • Fundamentalists

  • Bill Gates

  • Windows

  • Internet Explorer on Windows

  • Internet Explorer on Mac

  • Powerpoint

  • Windows... oh, I already said that!

  • Artificial Sweeteners

  • Small Yappy Dogs

  • Britney Spears

  • Rush Limbo (spelling intentional)

  • Entertainment Tonight & Access Hollywood

  • Reality Shows

  • Annoyances, big, medium and small

When I mentioned the pic of the catterpillar the other day looked evil... I wasn't thinking the catterpillar was condemned, going to hell, should be smited, or was an agent of Satan. I simply thought it looked Spooky.

It is important to note that I DO think that Bill Gates and Small Yappy Dogs quite possibly COULD BE agents of Satan. I'm wondering now.. what do you think is evil? My blog? Hope not!

Dan... too funny. Custard is one of the only food groups I have a hard time eating.

Forgot a couple ~
• pantyhose
• politicians

You might capitalize and bold "Politicians...

pantyhose: evil and frustrating!

your list + pantyhose = complete catalogue of evilness.

How about bigots, overcooked veggies and road rage?

I often refer to my cat as Evil. After all, she lays about all day, complains about the three meals she gets, does no work, and basically has the life I want.

That is evil.

Last night I had a dream that Rush Limbo was dressed up as George Bush and was chasing we through Walmart while he was eating a Big Mac and being followed by a camera crew. The whole time he was yelling, "You MUST do a Power Point presentation for Britney Spears on the positive correlation between The Purpose Driven Life and Microsoft stock prices!" Is that evil?
