Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Please share with me what you're most grateful for this Thanksgiving!
As for myself, I am most thankful for my health. A year ago, I was chronically ill. Being healthy is one of the greatest gifts of all, and I intend to maintain a healthy lifestyle as I get older. As a matter of fact, I just began teaching my 70 year old mother yoga today. It made her feel so good she wants to do it 2 times a day while I'm visiting here in Kansas City.
May you have a healthy, happy, authentic Thanksgiving, surrounded by those who love you, and those you love.

I have much to be thankful for. But, I suppose I am most thankful for my husband and kids and the wonderful life we have together.
Thanks for all the beautiful pictures of New England. I would so love to go there someday.

Susan,
I look at your site every day and have never expressed thanks. Here it is, THANK YOU. Thank you for sharing your life and for making mine a little bit more meaningful

My wife. Definitely my wife.
Does that earn me any brownie points? ;^)

I've written about my gratitude focus for this year, over at my blog. But there's plenty more... I am grateful for the bits and pieces of family that I do have here and there. I am grateful for the animals that fill my life with such fun and affection. I am grateful for beauty (pulchritude!!) in every permutation. I'm grateful for music and dance and art. I'm grateful for not having been in any of the tragedies that have been striking the world lately. I'm grateful for Colorado. And I'm very grateful for this strange phenomenon of blog friendships within the blogging community. It's been a wondrous thing! Hugs to you, Susan!

i am thankful for so much this year, but i think what is heaviest in my heart is the passing of my friend bruce. i am thankful to have even known him and though i miss him terribly, i know he is enjoying life in heaven :)

What I am most thankful for is a growing awareness of God - a gift of seeing God in the most ordinary of places. I see the world with different eyes than I did a year ago. A year ago I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. I think it has made me open to looking at life - I mean really looking at life.

Health and dogs and community (including bloggers!) and my warm fire on a cold day.

love the photo
We dont' have thanksgiving here in Finland, but I do have a lot to be thankful for.
I'm especially thankful that God has been at work IN me and something which I thought I'd never get over, that I'd never be able to forgive, has dissolved amidst being held tight in his arms.
be blessed :)
