Returning

October 08, 2005

Ugh! I have to go home this evening! I have to leave my working vacation behind me and go back to just working! Bah! Humbug! Why can't all of my work be vacation-like?

I'm happy to say I have quite a bit of blog-fodder to share here. Once I'm settled back into my lil' apartment and Olympus the Cat has forgiven me for abandoning her for a week, I'll begin posting shots of New Hampshire (we took a wrong turn on our way to Maine), Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Camden, alpacas and turkeys. We ate the most awesome apples right off the tree, and encountered more fog than anyone should have to. It was warm in Maine, warm in New Hampshire, and muggy in Cape Cod. The locals in New England were just as perplexed as we were over the tardiness of the turning leaves... although we did see a lot of color in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

It was a good trip! Maine is totally awesome. So awesome, that I think I would endure the winters to live there.
