Fun Fall Feet!

September 15, 2005

Ha ha! I got my new shoes in the mail! I think they're SO COOL! My walking shoes gave up the ghost a month ago, and seeing as I haven't bought new shoes in practically 3 years, I decided to get a spicy new pair. These Keen Cortina Paprikas (yes, they're ORANGE) will surely inspire me to get out and WALK. Putting them on today made me feel like running through the autumn woods. WHERE ARE YOU AUTUMN? I CAN'T WAIT MUCH LONGER!

(if you happen to order these, they're running a half-size small.. just so ya know... and, yeah, those are dorky white socks I'm wearing ~ so what.)

I'm getting all excited about sweaters and noodle soup. Ian's worried and will not join in my glee of autumn and winter approaching.

Way cool. Where did you find them?

Joy,

One of the reasons I love you soooo much is because we both REVEL in cool weather. I can't wait for the hot cider, the falling leaves... that first day I have to put the sweater on... the clean crisp air. My heaven would be brimming to the top with autumn... with 2 weeks of winter, 1 week of summer, and 6 weeks of spring. Yum.

Nice shoes. :)

Your socks don't match, though. But who cares? ;) Orange shoes rock.

Love the color of those shoes!!! I just had to buy sneakers that cost $120, to support my poor injured feet. I would prefer pumpkin pusher shoes, to be honest. Fall is excellent, I agree, especially in your area where summer is miserable torture.

Susan! I just went to the link, and discovered that your Pumpkin Pushers have "Semi-Agressive Lugs" and "Padded Tongue Liners" !!!! How bizarre! It sounds like something you'd taunt someone with, in an argument.

"Why, you Semi Agressive Lug!! I oughta pad your tongue liner!! And I MEAN it!!"

Willow is so damn funny, isn't she? Semi=Aggressive Lugs... sounds like men I really don't want to date!
I'd happily wear them on my feet though... especially if they make my feet feel better.

hee.
