I had the most MARVELOUS time at the Art Institute of Chicago. Didn't even have to wait that long to see the FABULOUS Toulouse Lautrec exhibit, which will be here until October. The superb Lautrec show includes works by such contemporaries as Picasso and Van Gogh. Seriously, if you love art, it's worth the trip to Chicago just to see this exhibit. My only regret was not having enough time to buy the audio tour... I had only an hour to speed through the exhibit before getting back to work. I could easily have spent 3 hours in there soaking up the scenery. Fascinating exhibit.

It's almost impossible to see any good museum in a short time! Lucky you, to have gone there.

One of my favorite venues in one of my favorite cities in the world -- used to live there once upon a decade. You've made me homesick.
