Be Merry!

Okay, so I'm engaging in my fun practice every day now, and although I shot this back in May, I do believe that if I were to encounter a merry~go~round this afternoon, I'd certainly get ON IT! (Doesn't this picture make you wonder what's behind the curtain? I shot it the day before the Flower Fest at the Cathedral while everything was being set up.)

merry go rounds and ferris wheels both make me queezy - that round and round thing gets me dizzy right now just thinking about it - i can hardly watch my kids when they ride - i have to watch the ground until i think it's time to look up and wave - i wave, go back to watching the ground and wave again.
i think they are magical and beautiful - but they weren't invented for me.

I always love a Merry Go Round, the music, the up and down motion and looking for the best animal to ride. But where did the brass rings go? Like many things from my past, just a memory.
