Rob and I went to the National Seashore where he knows a place in the woods where chickadees will eat right out of your hand. I kid you not, I shot this with the camera in my free hand! It was so amazing to hear the flutter of their wings and then suddenly the silence when one would land on my finger. They reminded me of fragile little Christmas ornaments. Little miracles... flying everywhere!

I'm thinking I was doing a Mary Poppins impersonation... ha. Just a spoon full of sugar, me, and the chickadee.
