When I was a child, groing up in Victoria British Columbia, My friends and I spent mant hours on the beach as the city is covered by ocean on three sides. One of our favorite pastimes was playing with loose pieces of that very type of sea weed. The bulbs on the ends are filled with air and you can pop them much like that plastic bubble wrap. They make a great popping sound. Thanks for re kindling those memories for me.
