Cape Cod

I ventured up to Cape Cod this past weekend to visit the man I've been dating long-distance for a couple of months. I've never done the long-distance dating thing before... I'm lucky he lives in such a cool place... far, far away, in the enchanted land of COD.
Cape Cod is stupendously beautiful, even in the rain. I have a way of timing trips during precipitaion, and this was NO EXCEPTION. It rained 4 out of the 5 days I was there, and I left in the midst of a wicked noreaster.
This image was shot the first day at Orleans on our way back from the National Seashore. Rob is a gifted photographer, so we made a photographic safari out of the trip... hiking through dunes and freezing our ears to the point of numbness. I had a fabulous time.

Finally have my techie stuff back together and am catching up. So howya been? LDR, eh? I love the Cape off season.
