Scotch On the Rocks

After wrestling with wrapping packages to send out across the country to relatives today, my mother exclaimed, "This is the time of year that I HATE!"

Like lightning, my stepfather ducked into the kitchen and poured her a scotch on the rocks. He's smart and funny that way.

My mom thoroughly loves Christmas, but she really really really dislikes Wrapping Day.
