Whew! It's Advent Calendar Eve again! This is sort of the equivalent of the night before the school play for me... the worry sets in... will my site EXPLODE tomorrow? Did I remember everything? Did I test it enough? Did I just upload the wrong file? Maybe this will be the year when everyone forgets to visit the site. Surely Spongebob Squarepants is much more interesting!
Does Santa worry like this? Does Rudolf get performance anxiety? I mean... they've done the routine so many times.. I'd assume they could do it in their sleep, right?
;-)
Those of you who have hit the calendar in Christmas's past know that I have a "Swedish" thing going on. The little girl pictured on this year's version is from a Swedish postcard from the early 1900's. When I saw this image, it just melted my heart... how perfect! A Swedish Christmas card from me... to YOU!
I'll be updating my blog this month with additional information about some of the characters and hope to find the time to compose a few entries centered around family memories. I'm visiting my mom in Kansas City, and we were lucky enough to have a White Thanksgiving AND it snowed today! This MUST be a good sign.

What a gift to the world. I've got a link on my desktop so I can check back through the season.

We were sent this site by a friend and it has been worth it. Both my sons love to watch it. My 9 month old (Ian) will actually try to drag his four year old brother (Connor) away from the computer so Ian can lean up towards the screen. Connor looks forward to each day of advent. First thing I hear in the morning now is "Can we turn on the computer and click the calendar now?" Keep up the great work!!!!!
