After Glow

picture of the room where I just received a professional massage

Oh, the delicious warmth of self–nurturing.

This is a picture of the Altar of Healing where I sacrificed a good portion of stress and anxiety yesterday. I shot it just after wafting up off of the table and back into my underwear... a new convert to the religion of Massage Therapy.

My massage therapist, Natasha, a very pretty and petite blonde who was about the size of my right thigh, asked if I wanted light or heavy pressure during the Swedish maneuvering. A wave of doubt washed over me... how could such a small person with such tiny hands exert anything classified as heavy?

After a few minutes, I decided she was more than up to the task – her little racoon hands skillfully melting the stress and anxiety into the shrouds lying beneath me.

It was BLISS. Pure bliss. If you haven't experienced one, then you really should do so. Natsha and her small, gifted hands are waiting to heal you at the Fountains Day Spa in Alexandria, Virginia.
