Haute Couture DMV

My Department of Motor Vehicles is rather spiffy. The elite Georgetown residents (of whom I am not, I assure you) require a faster, friendlier, less–occupied and easier Department of Motor Vehicles. I should know... I've been there three times.

Why did I have to visit the Haute Couture DMV THREE TIMES?

Because I'm retarded, that's why.

First time, I forgot my proof of residence. Second time, I forgot my birth certificate. DC won't let you drive unless they are pretty sure you are who you say you are. Phrases like "Truck Bomb" and "Terrorist" are explanation enough. I'm not complaining... not in the least.

Georgetown DMV is nestled within a beautiful mall where you can pay $5 an hour for parking and buy really expensive STUFF. I kind of enjoyed the glowing broadway-inspired bulbs, CNN, the smell of pretzels, and Ms. Rivers. Perhaps I will find the time to discuss Ms. Rivers....
